CANCER CARE CENTER
Cancer Care Specialists of Central Illinois / DMH Cancer Care Institute

Decatur, IL

The Cancer Care Center of Decatur is a 55,000 s.f. facility that opened in the Fall of 2009.  It was born out of a collaborative effort to bring comprehensive medical oncology, radiation oncology, clinical research, education, laboratory, pharmacy, and complementary medicine services together under one roof.  The center was designed to provide an open, warm, and inviting environment in which patients could comfortably navigate through diagnosis and treatment to recovery and survivor-ship.

VISITOR CENTER & CAFETERIA
Caterpillar

Decatur, IL

The project includes  a new visitor entrance, cafeteria, serving and dining room facility. The new facility was designed to provide better flow patterns and supply greater food selection choices, with a clean modern appearance. The new remodel also provided a more sanitary environment with easy to clean surfaces, and provide more ambient lighting to promote food appearance and entice the personnel to dine within the space.  A new patio allows an outdoor eating option.

Decatur, IL

The project includes the upgrade of the HVAC systems at the Macon County Law Enforcement Center.  Three phases of the project include: chiller system upgrade, heat recovery system installation, and ventilation system upgrades.  State energy efficiency grants received totaled approximately $250,000.  Phase 3 was featured in a newsletter for the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO)
